“I did the Elite Performance Assessment with Tim Flemming here at Endurance PTC. As a professional triathlete, I needed to know where I was at the start of the 2023 season and, in keeping up with industry standards within the elite field, knowing to what extent I produce and clear lactate at different efforts was the obvious path to improvement.
I expected a ramp test on the bike and run with a few ear pricks and 3 customized zones with which to move forward. I was pleasantly surprised at the extent of insight working with Tim. After the first day of testing we sat down for an in-depth review of the data as Tim helped illuminate concepts, understanding and strategy. The focus shifted from "what are my numbers," to an all encompassing understanding of my body composition, how energy systems work and how I can optimize how much body uses fat, carbohydrate and oxygen as energy to yield gains as high as 10%. As an older pro who thought my job was to prevent decline as long as possible, this was super encouraging.
And the strategies are different for the bike and the run because the energy systems operate differently for me in these two disciplines at this time. Both would take a pretty focused and committed 6-8 week program to yield adaptation. As such, Tim made himself and his knowledge available to my coach and I so as to ensure we put together the optimized 6-8 week plan, which was a little different than what we were planning but we saw the data and analysis, and all agreed this is the path forward.
Four weeks into this plan, I'm stronger on the bike and just set some personal bests on the run.
I would recommend this testing protocol for anyone, not just pros, looking to improve their performance and/or enjoy their past times as healthy as possible.”

“I went to Tim to help me get ready for an ultra-endurance bicycle race, Race Across America (RAAM) in 2014 and later in 2016 for Race Across the West (RAW). Not discounting that I was a member of a team effort for those races, it was imperative to be ready and at my peak performance just before the races.
The bottom line is that both races were highly successful. We crossed the 3,000 miles from Oceanside, CA to Annapolis MD in 6 1/2 days to get 4th place in our division. And two first places in our division for RAW (Oceanside, CA to Durango, CO, 930 miles) in 2016 and 2017. 2 days, 5 hours and 2 days, 3 hours respectively.
Without Tim's guidance I doubt that would have been an outcome. And I highly recommend him if you are serious about either getting in shape or training for an upcoming event.”

“WISH I DISCOVERED THIS PLACE 10 YEARS AGO! I grew up in Mill Valley but didn't discover this hidden gem until 20 years later... Why is Endurance PTC a hidden gem? For starters, they offer EVERYTHING you need to reach your goals as an high-performance athlete, recreational fitness enthusiast, or anything in between. So far, I've gotten sweat tested (to find out my sweat sodium concentration), my body healed by Tim with neuro-kinetic therapy – helping me realize I wasn't activating the right muscles while riding bike which was leading me down a dangerous road to inevitable injury. The difference was immediately noticeable and carried me through my first professional triathlon 2 weeks later. I also got a bike fit from Andrew.
