How does it work?

eStrength is based on our eCycle of Fitness philosophy, the same strategic approach that has made our eCycling program a success. The eStrength program uses a Functional Movement Screen (FMS) Test used by elite athletes, Olympic & professional sports teams. The screening determines each participant’s strengths and weaknesses and gives coaches data to customize your small group training.

What does the eStrength program Include?

  • Initial Private Functional Movement Screen (FMS) Test & Fitness Evaluation.
  • One or Two 50’ training sessions per week
  • Optional follow up FMS Test & Fitness Evaluation

What is a Private- Functional Movement Screen (FMS) Test?

In the initial evaluation we will determine the specific goals and needs of each individual. One of the strategic methodologies we will use is the Functional Movement Screening (FMS), which will be conducted by a certified FMS specialist. FMS is a 7 movement rating and grading system used by various Olympic, National, professional teams, elite athletes, Physical Therapist etc. FMS identifies functional limitations and asymmetries that can reduce the effectiveness of your strength and conditioning program. With these results from the FMS, our coaches can implement a customized corrective exercise strategy to restore optimal movement patterns and enhance performance as well as show you any modifications that might be needed while training in small group training sessions.

The performance evaluation will also include biomechanical analysis of certain movement patterns with a variety of equipment we will be utilizing in our small group sessions. The FMS session will allow individuals to tailor the small group training to their specific needs. Once you have completed this session you will be eligible to start your Small Group Training Program.
